The Big Breakfast
Muesli.. or a croissant.. or maybe some grapefruit?
There are times when only an Ulster Fry will do. But can you have too much of a good thing? Not according to Mahon’s Hotel in Irvinestown, County Fermanagh.
They clearly believe that breakfast is the “most important meal of the day” and are serving a fry of truly monumental proportions.
The Big Breakfast at Mahon’s Hotel includes:
- 12 sausages
- 12 slices of bacon
- 12 eggs
- 12 pieces of potato bread
- 12 soda farls
- 12 tomatoes
- 12 mushrooms
- 144 beans
And if you’re still not sated you can also have as many mugs of tea, glasses of orange juice and slices of toast as you want – and all for £39.99.
To date, only two people have managed to clear the plate – but anyone that does gets a special certificate to mark their achievement.
Now.. how long does it take to drive to Irvinestown from Belfast?
