Belfast Taste and Music Fest 09

The Belfast Taste and Music Fest ’09 will be held in Botanic Gardens, Belfast from the 6th until to 9th of August.

I have to admit, it’s been YEARS since I was at one of these events (1994, I think!), but this year Kelly and I will be there with bells on!

In terms of cooking there will be 8 local chefs and 16 chefs from Chicago making fresh food at various stalls around the venue, cooking and cocktail demonstrations, and cooking demos especially for the kids.

There’ll also be live music from Rab McCullagh, Juliet Turner, and Flash Harry (to name but a few).

Opening Times:

  • Where: The Great Lawn, Belfast Botanic Gardens
  • When: Thursday 6th – Sunday 9th August 2009
  • Time: Noon to 10.30pm Daily

Admission:

  • Daytime: £5 (12 Noon – 5pm)
  • Evening: £10 (5pm – 10.30pm)
  • Kids (Under 5yrs): Free
  • Kids (6 to 15yrs – while accompanied by an adult): Half Price

Taste Fest Tokens

Purchase Taste Fest Tokens on arrival and on-site to pay for your food.

  • 20 Tokens: £10

Taste Fest Token booth is open from 12.00noon – 10.00pm.
