Manor Park Restaurant Armagh

With Kelly away on a jolly with The Girls, I thought I’d treat myself and book a table in The Manor Park Restaurant, Armagh. I also had the happy knowledge that I wouldn’t have to share my meal for the first time in years – so off I went to the City of Saints and Scholars!

The cream of Ulster’s restaurants descended on The Merchant Hotel in Belfast last night to find out who the regional winners Irish Restaurant Awards were. So who’ll be representing Ulster at the All-Ireland finals in Dublin?

With Summer just around the corner, and weather forecasters promising a scorcher, we thought we’d do some preparation and sort out which white wines we’d be quaffing over the BBQ season. Those New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs are great, but McGuigan Wines are shouting about their Semillon Blanc 2011. With crisp citrus flavours, we think it’s the perfect Summer-time tipple!
